One mask for the whole face is a compromise your skin didn't agree to. Foreheads run oily while cheeks run dry — so in the lounge we multi-mask: purifying clay through the T-zone, hydrating cream across cheeks, and cooling gel under the eyes, all in the same twenty minutes.
The zone map
Clay belongs where pores clog — nose, chin, centre forehead — and only until it turns pale at the edges, never bone-dry and cracking. Cream masks suit cheeks and jaw, where barrier support matters most. A thin gel layer under the eyes de-puffs while the rest of the face works.
Timing and removal
Ten to fifteen minutes, once or twice weekly, is plenty. Remove with lukewarm water and soft cloths — no scrubbing — then seal immediately with moisturiser while skin is still damp. Masking the night before an event beats masking the morning of: any flush has hours to settle.
